How do I run my anti-virus software in safe mode?
I downloaded a free trial version of kaspersky anti-virus software. After I downloaded it, it automatically restart my computer. Now, all I see is my desktop background. NO ICONS and NO START button. How can I run the software? Is my computer fully started up?
I know how to get into safe mode, but how do i run the software?
You say all you have is your desktop no icons?
Here is a quick fix to get your icons back,
Take your mouse and center your arrow in the desktop, now right click the mouse>Look for Arrange icons by> Is there a check mark by the Show Desktop Icons? If not left click in front of Show Desktop Icons.
That should bring back the icons.

to run in to the safe mode press F8 when boot.

Ctrl + Alt + Delete
the you would go to task manager
click on new task then select the antivirus file
and double click on it!

Uninstall the program, redownload the program, this time make sure you tic the colum for created icon on your desktop.
