How can i get rid of the security tool virus software?
Im trying to get rid of the security tool virus software from my laptop because I dont want to pay $80 for it when i have other software but I cant get rid of it no matter what i do and its really starting to piss me off causei cant click on anything with outit popping up every 5 minutes.

Well if its that big an interference try CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up task manager and stop the program from there. (Processes>End Process) Then try to uninstall it. It should mostly remove itself now. If it fails, delete it manually from your C drive and clean your registry afterward. Im curious though as to what antivirus is such a pain to remove. Most are intuitively easy.

Reboot into safe mode with networking. Check on your desktop the security tool icon, right-click on it
There will be written a path to executable.
Open explorer and CD to that path. Delete all the files there. Empty recycle bin.
Then reboot and scan with Spyware Doctor or malwarebytes.

This particular malware should be removed as soon as it has been detected.
As with many rogue applications, security tool is designed to coerce money from unsuspecting computer users, and should therefore NOT be trusted!
