Is their any free good anti-virus software that is light on system resources and real time protection?

Basically I am looking for a free anti-virus software that will not eat up system resources and has very good protection rates. I have tried the following avg, avast!,avria, and mse. Thank You for your time.
Avast, and Avira fit the bill. I use, and am very happy with Avast.
